I first learned of Cafe Indigo from their amazing vegan carrot cake, sold at Whole Foods all around Boston and Cambridge. My Thai Bubble Tea Bistro in Chinatown carries a whole line of their other desserts as well, all awesome (I miss you, Caramel Truffle Torte!) As it turns out, they have a actual physical cafe located in an industrial park in Concord. It is also amazing.

They do lunch from 9-5 on weekdays, aka “when I’m at work and can’t go”, but they also do a $15 per person brunch every other Sunday from 10-2 and it is entirely worth it. You can choose from about 6 entrees (including the three pictures here), with unlimited fair trade coffee and tea and a whole buffet of sides including carrot cake and sesame noodle salad, essentially giving you no reason to need to eat again for the rest of the day. It gets BUSY, which on one hand is great because it gives them money/gives the lie to the notion that “no one wants to eat this stuff” and on the other is bad because you may end up waiting.
